The Homeless – a Haiku

They lived on the streets.

The Niagara had frozen;

And so had their hearts.

Notes:

  • It is assumed that “Niagara” has three syllables(doesn’t it?).
  • The poem has a deeper meaning.
  • Please interpret it as you like.
  • Poetry is not my forte, so it may not be good.
